actually, it was quite dissapointing today (IMO). Many companies I haven't heard of. Kind of sad.

I'm working there tomorrow...was there earlier today at the Company Advising table. I suggest looking over the list of companies and mapping out who you want to visit. Many companies won't be there tomorrow that were here today.

I'm just finished my 4th day at a job I landed b/c I went to every career fair and talked to the same guy... Every time I talked to him I had something new to offer so by the time I had my masters I was actually qualified enough for the position I kept wanting...

Moral of the story... Go, be seen, be nice, be memorable, improve yourself in between.

^^ Now, to be fair, when a lot of us picked CE and went structural 4-5 years ago, we didn't foresee a financial meltdown that would nuke a bunch of engineering firms and wipe out most every private structural engineering job that we had a decent shot at.
