I voted.
I thought I'd also point out that Talley is open every single day, including weekends, from today until November the 3rd. If you don't want to use the designated voter parking areas, there are a few tricks to make it easier.
I think you can park in the pay section of the Coliseum Deck and not get charged if you are in and out. Or, voting at Talley goes until 7pm every day, but most parking on campus is only reserved until 5pm, so that's a two hour window after work where you can park for free anywhere around Talley every weekday from now until the 3rd. 10/18/2012 4:38:41 PM |

Goes until 7pm every weekday* (it's open on the weekends too, but the hours are different) http://www.wakegov.com/elections/info/early/locations/pages/ncsu.aspx 10/21/2012 1:09:19 PM |

All of Wake County's early voting sites (including Talley Student Center) are open until from 11am to 5pm on this Saturday the 3rd. Check here to confirm and see the locations, or enter a different county if you live elsewhere. It's your last day to early vote (& to same day register which you can't do on Tuesday of election day itself so do it now!).

The polls are open from 6:30am to 7:30pm tomorrow.
If you didn't get a chance to early vote or absentee vote, and if you need to find out where you vote tomorrow, you can do that here. Put in your name and county here, and then look for where it says "My Polling Location" for the name and address for the location.
If you don't immediately recognize the place (hopefully you will, it should be near where you live) then you can click on "Directions & Images" to get a map there and to see pictures of the place which will make it easier to recognize when you get there (that and all the campaign signs and vote here signs).

Unlikely early voting, you can't vote anywhere in your county, you have to vote at your specific precinct location. On the off chance you end up at the wrong place and don't have time to get to the right place you can request a provisional, but if you can get to the right place then go there.
The last thing I'll emphasize is that if you are in line by the time polls close, you get to vote, no matter how long it takes. Early voting had higher turnout across NC than in 2008, so hopefully lines wont be too bad, but as long as you're in line by 7:30pm you get to vote even if the line is a mile long. 11/5/2012 7:59:08 PM |
