Donate Blood to Help Victims in NYC and DC

Emergency workers are in desperate need of blood for the next few weeks. You can call 1-800-GIVE-LIFE to set up an appointment or show up at University Towers at the corner of Dan Allen and Hillborough to donate on 12 September during lunch hours. If you're thinking that you want to do something to help, this is your chance. Your help is greatly appreciated.

They have already sent up a good bit of blood to be used up here. Keep in mind that they will need blood to replenish the NC supplies as well. IRC is having a drive on campus next week, so I'll probably go to that.

Over at UT today there is a blood mobile...I'm sure you can give blood even if you don't live there...

Actually, UT did have enough, since they ran out of supplies and had to turn me away.
