We need an anti-administration writer. Someone grounded in reality, someone who has the balls to write the truth. Not someone who is scared of Mary-Bitch Fox and follows the foolish techniques the English Department teaches, making weak concessions. We need someone with the brains and the power to galvanize the student body to force the administration to focus on the students and less on their careers. The administration does not need to waste our money on political shit like a "Vice Provost for Diversity." I know they did not consider how the students feel when they made that contract for Pepsi. All they care about is money; they do not consider what the students enjoy. The Fountain "Dining" Hall is one thing that needs to be changed. Better food, more variety, and less friggin onions is what we need. Viva la reveluccion! Whew. Done ranting for now.

YOU RULE SATCH. You're right, in general, it is a rag not worthy of bathroom reading. On occasion, there is a witty editorial, but that's about it. I don't mind the students opinions, but I agree I don't care for the High School bullshit of "how guys suck" by "that girl writer". The religious insights are interesting. The info on campus side activities is nice, and the sports page is good enough. However, the advertisements are extreme anymore, and I'd enjoy staring at Rorschach blots more than the comics that come in those things. I don't mean to sound judgemental, although I am being so. It's just that I am sure that with almost 30K students, there is something better out there than these articles on self searching and how hypocritical the world is to these writers' point of view. If there isn't enough campus wide news, cover some local and national news, or just make the paper smaller (if that's possible) Don't bore me with feministic insight, it's cliche these days.
