Networks and Nature Symposium!

submitted by JAllen1127 on Tuesday, April 9 2002 at 10:58 PM

"Networks and Nature: Unforeseen Advances and Unexpected Drawbacks in the Internet Age" will be the topic of the fourth annual Leadership and Arts Symposium this Wed. April 10 at 4pm in Witherspoon Cinema! Jim Levitt, Director of the Internet and Conservation Project at Harvard University, will be speaking on the impact of mass communication systems (specifically the Internet) on land use, urban sprawl, and the environment in general. Mr. Levitt is a great speaker, and the presentation should be very interesting! A reception will follow. All are welcome to attend this event!
