The Wolf Web is back on track!

Yeah yeah, we lost a few days of data and the photo gallery is a little screwy, but The Wolf Web should finally be back to normal! The hard drive and memory have been replaced reviving the server to its former glory!

I honestly don't think that we can handle this type of ordeal again. The bad timing of the failure along with the many hours put into recovery have really stressed everyone out. Next time a blackout may last a period of several days until we have time to remedy the situation.

Our goal from this point is to prevent this sort of catastrophe from ever occuring again. We are looking into several server options to reduce the chance of future failure. Redundancy along with true server hardware are definites. To accomplish this, support from our users is absolutely critical. If you feel like helping out, sign up for a premium subscription or buy some ads. These are our only revenue streams!

i totally agree. now i feel bad about cancelling my premium subscription. I will renew it again as soon as I can afford to. but i really do appreciate the time and effort put into maintaining this site.

You guys put alot of work into this thing and it shows Also you may want to consider just putting the parts that you need on the home page and have a little meter on how close you are to buying said part(s) like a volunteer fire department does when they need a new truck or something. People could either donate toward the cause, or considering what kind of cash some people have they may even pony up the device itself.
Just a thought.
