WHO should choose who can represent YOU?

If you were around in the spring, you couldn't have missed the principle issue raised by jackleg's campaign. The issue at hand: Who should be able to decide the required qualifications for your student government representatives: the student senate or referenda decided by the student body? There is currently a Government Bill in committee dealing with that very matter, GB 1. If you feel passionate about this, I urge you to email the gov ops committee, email your representatives, and/or attend the next Government Operations Committee Meeting on Wednesday, August 28 at 8 PM. We need your input to make this happen!
