MS Walk 2004

The Eastern NC chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society will have its annual MS Walk in the Triangle on April 17th, accompanied by the Pooch Parade. The walk will be held in the Sheraton Imperial area off of Page Road.
This is a great way to meet service project requirements. Walk-on registration starts at 9am. You are welcome to walk alone.

You can register online at www.encms.org, or by phone by calling 1-800-FIGHT-MS...these would be the most convienent way for most of us.

And if you want to find a team to join thats walking for a very worthy cause, PM ambrosia1231 for more info.

sounds cool... but just something i've always wondered


why is it called "multiple" sclerosis, I mean is it not possible to get just one or what?

sclerosis, loosely, means degeneration

many, many things deteriorate...most notably the myelin, but also your senses, mobility...lots of shit. theres not much in the body that escapes, including the mental capacities, at the very end
