In his first ever public appearance, Jeff Tennant will be speaking at the Talley Student Center Walnut Room this Wednesday, sponsored by the Self Knowledge Symposium. Immortal Combat: Death and Spiritual Rebirth in the Martial Arts recounts Tennant’s career of 17 undefeated years in the Southeast Asian underground fighting circuit. Rather than extolling the personal glory and fortune he garnered, Tennant instead tells both a cautionary tale and one of spiritual odyssey. Remarkably, Tennant walked away from it all, expecting a bullet to his head from the Chinese mafia. He made it out unscathed, but a transformation occurred - an experience he describes as “cosmic consciousness”. I think this guy is a fraud. I have researched on google, and asked around MANY Mixed Martial Arts boards about him. For a guy who was undefeated through over 400 matches, basically being the michael jordan of his sport, you would think SOMEONE would have heard of him.

But no one has, and there is no record of him other than giving these spiritual lectures (all for $$ i might add).
