Things fall apart for NCSU Mens Basketball

submitted by CrazyJ on Friday, November 24 2000 at 12:07 AM

Chalk up another one in the loss column for the NCSU Mens Basketball team. They fell 82-63 in a loss to Fresno State on Wednesday night. This brings the season record to 1-2. Get the full story here at GoPack.com.

Just when I had given up on the football season and started looking towards basketball, our basketball team chokes to lose two in a row. My synopsis: We NEED Damon Thorton. Will Herb be able to rally the troops for the upcoming ACC season?

I don't think we need to write off the Bball team just yet. UNCC and Fresno were quality opponents. Plus, everyone knows that the season doesn't really start until the ACC schedule starts.

...and just how well do you think we'll do against our ACC opponents??? The ACC is really strong this year, and I think it could be a looong season.

This story did not foresee the Glenn Wilkes Classic Champions of 2009. Even without Damon Thorton.
