Fundraising for their own organization, and a damned good way of doing so. Beats car washes (in my opinion)

So this is legal because you aren't giving away cash prizes but rather gift certificates? Also, are there beverages provided, or is it byob so to speak? How is the game going to be offciated? Is there a 'house' rake taken by each sponser?
I guess I'm just interested in what type of tournment this is going to be. I've played poker with as few as 3 other people that lasted 4 hours. 90 people ion that amount of time is unreasonable.

This is a Texas Hold'em Tournament, there will be X number of tables, and as people are knocked out the tables will be combined, until we have a final table. The house isn't taking a rake, as this is not a cash game but rather a tournament. I'm not sure about beverages yet, we're working on that. The blinds will be raised as needed to ensure the tournament is done at a reasonable hour.
