ReCreate State!

Yes, it is that time of year again...the time where we can all get together to beautify our campus...you guessed right, it's ReCreate State time! I can't think of a better way to spend my Saturday morning than planting annuals to help make my campus look better. I'm sure that you would all agree with me ;) If you would like to volunteer for the event, it will be held from 8:30-12:30 on Saturday, October 30 at the Belltower. And not only will you be able to give something back to our campus, but we will also give something to you! (Breakfast and lunch that is...) Since I know most of you are involved in other organizations, please spread the word and let everyone know about this service opportunity. The website has not been updated yet, so if you would like to go ahead and register for the event, please email me at jlhorne@ncsu.edu with your group leader's name, contact information and the total number of people that will be volunteering. I will tell Alpha Phi Omega about this. Hopefully some of them will come out. We have a project that afternoon (Haunted House for kids), but I should be there.

c'mon tim, show up at 8:30 put 2 hours in and you still have plenty of time to shower and have a few cold ones b4 the games starts

If you want to catch the kickoff for the game, you should have time...12:30 was a tentative ending time. We will more than likely end at 11:30 and then have an hour for pizza and socializing and shenanigans... I would really appreciate it if there was a good turnout for this event, so if you have any questions, or would like to sign up, please email me and let me know. I would really like to have a definite number by Thursday morning at the latest, so start getting a group together...Thanks!
