I decided to put this one up just as an FYI. Not because I agree with it, but just so you kids don't lose your priviledges because you didn't know.

What a joke.
If an 18 year old kid gets a drinking ticket at a game and then gets a ticket for a basketball game a month later how in the fuck are they going to know.
Also this is stupid. This just gives underage people even less incentive to drink before games.

Look, you can act like an elitist prick because you're 23 but when you were 18 you thought it was fucking gay.
I wouldn't fight in Iraq but by god I would fight today against MADD and any other neo-prohibitionist group out there.

this sucks for the underagers, but works out in my favor. the more people cited, the less competition for tickets. 10/28/2004 1:13:45 PM |

^^^ You don't know shit about NC State if you recommend freshmen should transfer.
I wonder what the reasoning behind this is? Enforcing new rules doesn't solve the problem, it only tries to contain it, and often, doesn't prove effective in doing so.

ABSOLUTE DUMBEST POLICY EVER
How can a ticket written by a law enforcement officer, not affiliated with NC State, affect the distribution of NC State sporting event tickets? That makes no sense. I wish I knew my rights because I believe this would violate one of them. Suppose I'm a student and have season tickets, how are they going to stop me from going to the game? Whose to say another student can't use his ID to get you a ticket to the game? Are extra tax dollars being spent on this load of Sh!t? If so, and even if none are, this is still the most stupid policy NC State has come up with. It's almost as if NC State owns the ALE, Raleigh PD, Highway Patrol, etc. Leave the penalties of breaking the law to the law enforcement. Don't try to come up with stupid penalties for something that involves law enforcement not affiliated with NC State! 10/28/2004 3:03:09 PM |

As long as you're a student at State, any action you make reflects on the University.
Therefore the University derives the power to punish you for any wrongdoing for which you might have been convicted of and already sentenced for.
Read your student handbook...it's all there.10/28/2004 3:51:13 PM |

It ties to your ID so when you go to swipe your card it won't let you in. Though I'd like to see a student usher try to deny access to those with a ticket. 10/28/2004 4:00:08 PM |

That's what Im saying.
Who gives a fuck if their ID wont swipe.
It's not hard to find a freshman co-ed that goes home every weekend because they are more comfortable in a high-school setting than a college one.
This is NC State, Home of the mal-adjusted, socially inept people age ranged 17-28. 10/28/2004 4:14:09 PM |

When I was 18 and wanted to drink at games, I did so knowing and accepting the consequences that would follow should I get caught. If I was not prepared to deal with the consequences, I wouldn't have had anything to drink.
And the rest of your argument is completely inane. Not even worth commenting on.10/28/2004 11:44:45 PM |
