Marketing Research a/k/a BUS 462 is a popular course at NCSU. A cumulative research project is a standard requirement and is a useful tool for preparing students for the workplace. Research projects range from surveying respondents on alchohol use to voting rights. Many organizations have benefitted from NCSU's research, such as Lowe's Home Improvement, Planned Parenthood and the Department of Public Instruction, to name a few.
