submitted by FeloniousQ on Tuesday, December 7 2004 at 10:12 AM

The Senior Class Board of Trustees would like to invite all December graduates of NC State and their guest to a festive congratulatory graduation dinner at Southend Brewery on Monday, Dec. 13. Starting at 6 PM there will be a social with a cash bar. Following the social, graduates will be able to enjoy a fine cuisine buffet, which will include beverage, salad, grilled marinated chicken breast, fresh Atlantic salmon, chicken and vegetarian penne pasta, baby back BBQ ribs, and desserts.

You will also get the chance to visit with and hear from Dr. Lennie Barton, Executive Director of the NC State Alumni Association, and Dr. Tom Stafford, Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs.

An after dinner raffle will include athletic tickets for a men’s basketball game, a framed Wolfpack painting ($125 value), Alumni Association membership for one year ($40 per year value), items from the Alumni Association apparel collection, and more.

Every attendee will receive a free gift for attending, compliments of the Alumni Association. You will also have to the chance to join the Alumni Association and receive a free gift. The cost is $25 per person or $45 per couple; this pays for everything except the cash bar.

To attend, register here by Dec. 9. Please contact Anderson Hicks (alhicks@ncsu.edu), Senior Class Vice President, with any questions.

Congratulations on graduation!

Appreciate the opportunity, this would be something nice to take a parent/grandparent to.

Ill post the same comment in this one i posted in the last one:

Yeah, thanks for the congratulatory dinner where i have to buy my own fucking meal. Fuck you. You cant shell out the money to have NCSU catering do it on campus. Gee thanks.

For 45$ id rather take myself and my wife to a decent restaurant, then go to a store and buy her a ncstate shirt.

Thanks for the "festive congratulatory graduation dinner". Asses.

This has been canceled anyway, not enough people wanted to pay money to congratulate themselves

I would just rather pay money to go out with my real family and congratulate myself. If they are going to try and sit me down and ask me for money once i start making it, the least they could do is spring for my dinner.

The way they were doing it was like a telemarketer asking you to pay for the phone call.
