Limit will be double the pot for the first half hour, and then we'll judge based on the pace of the game. No buying back in. We'll have music and refreshments. It's a great cause, hope to see you there! 11/8/2005 8:28:44 PM |

at the final table they split the chips in half and added two stacks of ten to everyone's hand. i had about 60 after they split it in half and had more chips than anyone at the table. However, after they added two stacks of twenty to each hand that really made it unfair for me because now my chipstack would be a lot smaller compared to their's than what it was.
me: 60 chips player a: 30 chips ratio of his chips to mine: 50%
afterwards: me: 80 chips player a: 50 chips ratio of his chips to mine: 62.5%
This made it unfair at the final table for the skilled players who built their stacks up throughout the tournament. I suggest you run a poker tournament right next time especially if it is for charity. 11/11/2005 10:25:23 AM |

they just tried anything to hurry up the tournament to get it out of there by 9, a lot of what they did took out of the fun, our blinds kept being raised before the dealer chip made it all the way around the table 11/11/2005 5:39:19 PM |

How would giving people more chips at the final table hurry it up any? 11/12/2005 3:50:19 AM |

they took away chips at the final table and made players with larger chip stacks have less of an advantage 11/12/2005 4:32:44 AM |

HUGE party this Sunday (the 18th)...
Ok, so we know it's cold outside and we've got months to go before the 2006 concert series starts up again but…there is hope!
The 10th Annual Deep South Entertainment Christmas Party (the folks who produce Budweiser Raleigh Downtown Live) is happening this Sunday, December 18th at the City Limits Saloon in Raleigh, North Carolina 9pm-2am. (City Limits is located at 901 Tryon Hill Drive * Raleigh * 27603 * next to Charlie Goodnight's).
Come early. It's going to get packed. The theme this year is "I'm dreaming of a White Trash Christmas" so dress appropriately (trashy, gaudy, sexy... or just come as you are) and you could win some cash and prizes. Here is the deal: 10 bucks get you into THE biggest holiday party this season. Sponsored by Budweiser, 96Rock and Zspotlight.com. The 10th Annual Deep South Entertainment Christmas party is going to have great drink specials, bar dancers, a daisy duke contest, trailer park king and queen contest, and more!
See you there!
Once again:
