The Backyard Bash to Save the Music!

When: Friday, April 7th, kicking off at 6:00 PM
Where: Harris Field

NC State's Backyard Bash to Save the Music is a music festival that will feature several bands, many of which feature former or current NC State Students, as well as numerous exciting local sponsors.

This huge night of music includes:

-Brooks Wood Band (8:45)
-Inflowential (8:00)
-Evenfall (7:15)
-Forward All (6:30)
-Sissy Harrington (6:00)

Some of the many sponsors that will be out there include:

Ruckus, Best Buy, REI, Tir Na Nog, Charlie Goodnights, Papa Johns, University House, Jersey Mikes, PackBackers, Cold Stone Creamery, and 100.7 The River!

Proceeds from the event will be donated to VH1's Save the Music Foundation, which purchases new music instruments to restore music education programs that have been cut due to reduction or to save programs at risk of being cut due to lack of funds.

My old middle school doesn't even have music anymore. They cut it for some kind of teacher thingy. So giving them instruments wouldn't help.
