Bush will be a good NFL player.

Like Warrick Dunn but more agile.

Deuce and Bush will split carries for the first part of the season.

Deuce will get hurt again in week 6-7.

Bush will announce the takeover.

Bush will proceed to average 3.7 ypc behind a porous o-line.

Bush is going to try and jump over a DB like he did in college, get up ended and then taken out by a linebacker or safety. Hopefully the panthers will do it

If by "fine" you mean last in the division then I agree with you.

how does one become a saints fan? Is it some curse, thrust upon them by unseen forces?

It's nice to root for pro teams because they have great players that went to your school.

He won't flop. He just will fail to meet the unprecedented standards that people have set for him.

there is no way in hell bush will get more than 600 yds next season....even if he starts every game. bush was best in college when he could make it into the secondary and had some room to make some moves, there is no way he is gonna be making it to the secondary that often with the saints O-line.

listen...i started this thread because i think bush will get fucked up...but i also acknowledge the fact that he might be a very very good RB...hell maybe ladainian tomlinson or shaun alexander type status...or better...HOWEVER...his nfl career might also be like the usc texas national championship game...where the defense cuts off the outsides and his speed lanes and he is too small to run over real defenders...the thing about bush is, he's so fast, he hasnt really taken any good licks recently...a couple ray lewis or julius peppers tackles...he might have some second thoughts about bullshitting with that agent about his parents house

bush really isn't that small - he's 5'11", 200 lbs. same size as tiki barber and brian westbrook, 20 lbs heavier than warrick dunn. granted he's no jerome bettis, but he's no dave meggett either. plus, the saints will probably play him often as a slot receiver to get him into the open field. i'll be surprised if he doesn't get at least 1000 total yards next year, even if he's splitting time with deuce.

of course, knowing the saints luck, he'll get hurt head-butting the goal post and end his career in week 2.

You guys are so irrational.

Is the Saints line REALLY that bad?

Deuce McAllister has put up big numbers his whole career.

Antowain Smith (!!!!) put up reasonable numbers last year.

600 yards? Are you fucking kidding me? He will get almost 600 yards in his two games vs the Falcons for gods sake.

You people are crazy to think that Bush will flop. I think it is good for him to split carries. A NFL team is no longer One RB system. Hit Duece for hard bangin yards, and Bush with misdirection finese, and agility. C'mon....they can split him out he can actually catch and run...Ok, the Saints are not a great team, but Brees if healthy made a great past 2 years tossing short passes out the backfield to a fast, small, wuick RB...

No I am not saying Bush will be LT, but he has the closest potential...some serious haterz in here. I am all about Mario rippin some teams heads off, and Young will be ok-even though they took his mentor away (that was below the belt) but he will still pan out to be a good solid QB...QB's usually need a couple years to grasp NFL anyway...so judgment be made later...we are all still waiting to see our QB actually be effective (Rivers)

3 touchdowns

if vince young hadnt scored the game winner and USC would've won, Lendale would've been MVP and wouldve been a top 10 draft pick

We lost Wayne Gandy and LeCharles Bentley this offseason, and we've essentially replaced them with a beanstalk and a pair of Teva Sandals

Not to mention that our line sucked last year as well - Antowain Smith started 7 games last year out of all 16, and averaged 40 yds/game

Consider that Stecker was even less productive and there

whoever asked about being a Saints fan... I was born in New Orleans. With no other pro teams in the city you tend to be a fan... not to mention being really young and impressionable during the glory years (1986-~93)

i would say NOT SIGNED, but he is going to the place that's led hundreds of careers into a dusty oblivion

if he can turn them around longterm, he's even better than they say on ESPNUSC

This is just me thinking outside the box......

What if the Saints don't use Reggie Bush for the sole purpose of a running back. Why not have Deuce and Reggie on the field at the same time. Split one out. Line one up at the third wide out....

Just a thought

Makes more sense with two athletes as good as they are.

GO TEXAS
