FSU has 7 losses. They aren't close to a great team. But losing to BC is inexcusable for a team tied for first in the ACC. Duke and UNC once again will be propping up the conference.

PJ Hairston out for UNC game due to a sore foot. Obviously it hurts their depth, but he has been playing pretty shitty in the ACC and only got 10 minutes against Duke.

I'm having a tough time with these UNC games. I always always always always want UNC to lose...but I'm still worried about UVa/Miami/FSU getting NCAA tourney bids over us. UNC/Duke are automatics...so it doesn't bother me when they beat up on everyone else in the conference (although I love to see them lose). But FSU now has two signature wins, Miami has one, and UVa and us have zero (but UVa has beaten us).

So although I would relish in UNC losing to UVa this Saturday, it won't hurt my feelings to see the Hoos get their 4th ACC loss...especially with our next three games coming up.

I assume he means Duke and FSU, both of which are doable but I don't see us pulling off both. We're talking about a team that struggled against GT and BC, and you may even argue the second time around with Wake.

Any two of the three. If you can't beat two good teams in a whole season then you don't deserve to be in the tournament. This is our chance. We have two home games and one road game. If we win 1 of these 3 then we are still on the bubble needing to do something more to cement ourselves. If we lose all three we are out and would need a miracle run in Atlanta.

Win two of those 3 and we are in barring a complete collapse.

Just got back from the game...



the Xavier vs. Temple game that is. Temple dominated for most of the game. I was wearing a State hat & some NCSU alums threw up the wolf hand sign & yelled out, "WHOO GO WOLFPACK!" It was pretty awesome. Talked to one of them for a bit. I wish I had gotten their number in order to add some more to our viewing parties up here in Philly.
