Most of the time, they don't even call it in the NCAA.

yeah, but the NCAA has been tightening up on lane violations during the tourney.

AND, we are talking about making millions here, guys should get out as soon as they can. Ans as State fans, we should be supportive of that because it is good for Gott's record to have guys matriculate.

^Him matriculating next year as a top 5 pick and him having a legit chance at being POY would be bad for Gott?

People on here as well as most of our players throughout history just aren't smart about the nba draft. Out of about 10 players I recall leaving early only one was ready.

How can you think that when everybody knows that CJ and Lo would have been better off had they not stayed another year.

You're operating under the incorrect assumption that some kids will ever be NBA ready

I don't know what you mean by everybody but 4 years of college is almost always the better option. Sure there are exceptions but those are rare kentucky-type players.

hindsight is 20/20. the reality of the situation was that CJ could've made improvements to his game, and he had a huge opportunity his junior year to improve his draft stock, but he squandered it with his inconsistency and his shitty attitude.

The NBA drafts on potential, you don't have to be "ready"

so he had the kind of potential of a borderline/low first round pick and then all of that went away in a year and it had nothing to do with what he did on the court

I'm supportive of what ever he chooses. Can't wait to see what type of pro he could become.

We'll have to create a new TJ Warren for NBA MVP thread that Jaybee can take literally

Can he...can he at least get some tall girl pregnant before he leaves? We need TJ III ASAP.

I'm just sayin. We've all been thinking it for months now.

If we were Duke or UNC there would be little doubt he was returning but since we are NCSU we have to deal with the fact that anytime we have a player that is good, they leave before they can make us good. One day a player will change that, and we will finally be good but until then we will always be either young or bad.

There's no reason to lock this thread regardless of whether he leaves. He can still be appreciated when he's gone, just like Howell and others. In fact, Julius Hodge should have a appreciation thread, as he still does a lot for the program long after he stopped putting on a Wolfpack jersey.

you could interpret that as warren staying in school considering he ended it with a #wolfpack.
