Whether the e-mail scandal holds any water or not Hillary's numbers are dropping in part as a result of it. Bernie is gaining ground.

guys, she said she is sorry about hiding all the emails about trading cash for state dept favors. glad we can put it behind us now

also, if her IT guys pleads the fiff on TV that would not look good me thinks

Quote :
"As lawmakers in the Congress returned to work on Tuesday, Republicans made clear they want answers from a former State Department employee who was paid on the side by Hillary Clinton for maintenance work on her controversial outside email server while Secretary of State.

Two key GOP Senators basically offered ex-aide Bryan Pagliano immunity in exchange for his testimony to a pair of Senate panels about his work on the Clinton email server.

Up to this point, Pagliano has made clear he will take the Fifth Amendment to avoid answering questions.

“Your right under the Fifth Amendment to avoid being compelled to provide testimony that might be used to prosecute you is a fundamental individual right,” wrote Sen. Charles Grassley (R-IA) and Sen. Ron Johnson (R-WI).

“With that being said, the Committees also need the unique information you likely have in order to exercise their oversight functions under the Constitution,” the Senators added.

The questions came as Hillary Clinton herself shifted strategy on the email issue, which has dogged her campaign for weeks.

WASHINGTON (AP) — It took three interviews and five days for Hillary Rodham Clinton to say “I’m sorry.”

After resisting apologizing for using a personal email account run on a private server to conduct government business as secretary of state, Clinton shifted course Tuesday.

“That was a mistake,” she said of her email practice. “I’m sorry about that. I take responsibility,” the front-runner for the Democratic presidential nomination said in an interview with ABC News.

Clinton will testify in late October before a House panel that has been looking in to both the Benghazi attacks in 2012 and the issues about her outside email server while Secretary of State.

Quote :
"Kathleen Willey, the former Democrat activist who claims she was sexually assaulted by President Bill Clinton, is calling out Hillary Clinton for a new ad that expresses the presidential candidate’s purported concern for the survivors of sexual assault.

“She’s a money-hungry hypocritical witch who will do anything for money,” Willey told the American Mirror.

In the ad, which is only about 17 seconds long, Hillary Clinton states: “I want to send a message to every survivor of sexual assault. Don’t let anyone silence your voice. You have a right to be heard, and you have a right to be believed. We’re with you.”

Willey pointed out she got a different message from Hillary when she accused Bill Clinton of sexually assaulting her.

“She believed what happened for sure. She just chose to ignore the plight of all of his victims, thus enabling him to continue to abuse and rape women in the future,” Willey said of Hillary.

“She’s a lying pig. I cannot believe that she had the gall to make that commercial. How dare she? I hope she rots in hell.”

^^^

did he ever "abuse" or "rape" any of his 'victims', or was it always consensual? the only victim was his wife, but she chose to ignore his transgressions, and even had some of his conquests followed by private detectives and/or silenced, so she did not see herself as a victim. in reality, i am sure she did, which woman wouldn't? she just hung around and tolerated it for her political ambitions.

so did he abuse/rape?

When are people going to start getting upset about the GOP wasting millions of tax payer dollars on bullshit investigations and lawsuits for political gain?

the argument that so many liberals mock conservatives for... "they want to take our guns"

well, looks like Hillary DOES want to via MANDATORY gun buy back programs...

She's one of the worst people in the world. I really have no idea how anyone could consider her a good candidate for president. She's pretty much a female Richard Nixon minus the charm.

but her response is obviously describing voluntary programs:
Quote :
"VOTER: Back to handguns. Recently, Australia managed to get away, or take away tens of thousands, millions of handguns. In one year, they were all gone. Can we do that? If we can’t, why can’t we?

HILLARY CLINTON: Australia is a good example, Canada is a good example, the U.K. is a good example. Why? Each of them have had mass killings. Australia had a huge mass killing about 20-25 years ago, Canada did as well, so did the U.K. In reaction, they passed much stricter gun laws.

In the Australian example, as I recall, that was a buyback program. The Australian government, as part of trying to clamp down on the availability of automatic weapons, offered a good price for buying hundreds of thousands of guns. Then, they basically clamped down, going forward, in terms of having more of a background check approach, more of a permitting approach, but they believe, and I think the evidence supports them, that by offering to buyback those guns, they were able to curtail the supply and set a different standard for gun purchases in the future.

Communities have done that in our country, several communities have done gun buyback programs. I think it would be worth considering doing it on the national level, if that could be arranged. After the terrible 2008 financial crisis, one of the programs that President Obama was able to get in place was Cash for Clunkers. You remember that? It was partially a way to get people to buy new cars because we wanted more economic activity, and to get old models that were polluting too much, off the roads. So I think that’s worth considering. I do not know enough detail to tell you how we would do it, or how would it work, but certainly your example is worth looking at. [Applause]"

^ Clinton's statement and the Fox News article are wildly different characterizations.

I don't think guy buybacks would work in America, and this is probably what we'd find out after they were "looked into". But this doesn't mean it's not "worth looking into".

It's stale. No one cares because of all the shit that hasn't stuck over three damn decades.

I do agree that some of that is pretty damning though.

Perhaps this will be a lesson much like the boy who cried wolf.

once again, hillary has a lot of trouble everywhere except the deep south, deep red states. Impressive movement she has had, but its seems to only be regional.

She basically split Michigan and dominated in Mississippi, so she's still comes out ahead. If Sanders had beat her by more than a point or two, I'd say it would be an upset. Hillary may very well struggle in the Midwest, but I just don't see her losing any of the huge states. Splitting a state like Michigan certainly helps Sanders more than lopsided wins in KS or Vermont, but I don't think much has changed really.

His win was by a slim margin, and still has a lot of room to go delegates-wise, but he was projected to lose by 20+ points, and won. This is a huge upset, and means more polling needs to be done for the current and future races.

Something changed, maybe Flint debate, but this could be a big momentum shift. We need more races to know for sure obviously.

She's doing well in the states she has no chance of winning and getting beaten in states the dems often carry. It's been and continues to be an interesting race. The longer it stays close like this the more likely it is that she could actually lose. It's very unlikely but if she loses in Florida it's going to be absolutely nuts up until the convention.

The last poll on RCP showed 27. Avg of 21.

Biggest upset in primary history (40 years). Ujustwait refusing to call it as such is pretty funny.
