When we lose we'll just point out we don't have Yurtseven, Kapita, and probably Mav. It's the same thing Duke is saying this morning when they lost with 3 of their guys out.

We're not going to make it undefeated until the ACC season starts, we're just too young and still meshing, we barely escaped Georgia Southern. Key is to show improvement until the ACC season begins and hope by then we have chemistry on the court and things are running smoothly.

Creighton is the best team we have on our OOC schedule by far, how is saying November such a crazy prediction?

I'm glad they won last night. Makes it even better if we beat them, and more explainable if we lose, especially with 2-3 guys out. I still think we have a good shot and am really excited to see us play a talented team. State always seems to play down to inferior talent and then really light it up when we're the underdog. Either way, it's good practice before the ACC starts and if anything I'm more mad that Kapita, Yurt, maybe Mav are going to miss the opportunity to test themselves against a high level of competition before it really counts in conference.

We will steadily build momentum throughout the season.

I feel like we're going to slide down that bracketology crap until we hit the regular season. Our SOS combined with not having all the pieces in place, we're not going to look great on a resume. Regular season should really boost SOS/RPI and hopefully we'll have everyone healthy and playing well.

just looking at the numbers put on us from opposing backcourts, we seem to really be missing Cat's defense in that area. I know we're getting Kapita and Yurt to help with frontcourt D, but without some significant progress made by DSJ, Dorn, Mav, and Thendy - we should be prepared for this to be a season long weakness.
