I'd say durant is like 80-90% to sign a 1 year deal with a 1 year player option in okc now.

It would basically take a complete collapse against gsw or complete beat down against cleveland to change that.

He's leaving too much money on the table to do anything else.

If he proofs himself once again in the finals that he's the best and beats Curry, he does worth that amount of money.

first quarters been a parade of layups. derozen is shooting like 100% but they are gonna get steamrolled like this. toronto won't win a game this series.

on top of all that their coach is a substitution idiot like vogel. When you only have two good players, you can't ever take them both out at the same time unless the game is in hand.

Cleveland isn't even exerting themselves.

Like the crowd isn't even cheering. They should just show nba classics during these ecfa games with live look ins for highlughts.

Lebron is the best player of all time. It's unbelievable how bad the media slights him.

That being said curry actually did have the greatest season of alltime. And kobe had the worst

neither Lebron nor Curry have ever abused Toronto in a single game like Kobe did, though

I bet Toronto will make a comeback in game 2. They are just rookies for ECF.

Yes, they butchered TOR, and they will probably do that in the following games, because they just turn on the insanity mode in the playoff series. They are actually the playoff version of GSW of regular season. But like I said, this is the first time ever TOR enter CF. So my prediction is they will win a game at home.
And I don't agree that east conference is poor, because Hornets still struggled and stopped at 1st round.

The media made fun of him and wanted to give him some pressure because they want to find a juggernaut to challenge GSW. This is very similar scenario as 97-98 Jazz challenged the undefeated Bulls. Cleveland, OH is like Salt lake city, Utah. Bay area is like Chicago. Curry vs Lebron is like Jordan vs Malone.

What a fun playoff to watch! This is probably the most dramatic and exciting matchup since Bulls vs Jazz!

The hornets are shit take the blinders off. Rockets would be the 2nd best team in that conference.

Houston went 13-17 against the East this year.

Yeah the rockets would have been the 8th best team in the east, that's silly.

The east isn't weak this year. It's just that cle, gsw, okc, and sas are the best four teams by a wide margin.

I think tonight is another tight one, obviously it's a must win for gsw.

It's kinda funny to realize it but okc actually has the experience advantage. GSW never played a team in the playoffs that really had a chance against them the past two years until now

History record of this season:

Nov 23 Warriors 91 - 86 Final Thunder

Dec 18 Thunder 109 - 114 Final Warriors

Jan 5 Thunder 91 - 117 Final Warriors

Jan 16 Warriors 115 - 127 Final Thunder

Feb 6 Thunder 108 - 116 Final Warriors

Feb 27 Warriors 121 - 118 Final/OT Thunder

Mar 3 Thunder 106 - 121 Final Warriors

GSW win by 10 tonight I guess. They can't lose anymore.

Regular season record vs the east doesnt tell you much about the playoffs. Hawks are a great regular season team. Id take the rockets in a series over any of those teams. Toronto might be tough tho.

Warriors playing a "line and 3"? defense. Its not triangle and 2 but green and bogut are playing zone with shared responsibilities on roberson.

I wonder if okc would ever play 3 bigs to combat that. Ibaka is reduced to being a spot up shooter.

Is ezeli mentally handicapped or something?

He's a free agent and bogut is hurt. He comes in and gets 2 fouls in 43 seconds after getting 4 in 8 minutes last game.

2 of which were off the ball

These adams injuries are brutal. Kanter came in and gave up like 13 points immediately.

The guy is literally the worst defensive big man I've ever seen. He makes okafor look like mutombo

Yeah Kanter is a fucking turnstile.

Really quiet 2nd quarter from Curry so far.

I predicted an Adams/Green fight in game 2. It looks more and more likely.

Also, GSW has some dumb big men. Ezeli and Bogut are committing terribke fouls.

Kerr's subbing is pretty bad. He takes curry and thompson out at the same time for like 5 minutes. The team struggles to score at that point and gives up their lead, then they both come in and have to both find a rhythm together. I guess it works well against normal teams but its silly against okc.

He needs to keep one in at all times and let them both get going.

^^Yeah, I saw that too. I wonder what waiters was saying.

Man, I'm not sure that was a foul on Iggy's circus shot layup. Warriors really closed out the half strong.

Interesting start. They're up now but I'm not sure if they can actually win without big contributions from Klay and Steph. On the other hand, it's pretty unlikely they stay cold in the second half.

Okc got beat on the glass tonight and turned it over a lot. Maybe a bit of fatigue. Curry went into god mode but they were losing him a lot

fatigue is gonna happen when you come off of back-to-back 7-game series and play your ass off in game 1 of this series. the warriors really turned it up in the 3rd though.

It's well known that Waiters ices players out and take ill willed shots himself despite having far better players than him on the court. That's why Lebron got his ass out of Cleveland fast. Waiters honestly shouldn't have arms out there when Durant is on the court

Not revising anything i think that was a fatigue game. Warriors have had a lot of time off.

Okc got the win they needed in oakland.

Westbrook has just got to realize he's not a shooter.

I really thought okc looked in control the first half until iggy went on his little stretch . They fell apart 3rd quarter, they just didn't recover during the half.

I did get nervous with adams back injury but he seemed okay.

I mean the obvious thing is what I've said all along. THEY CAN'T PLAY KANTER. They were -11 with him on the floor 15 minutes. He just came and immediately gs went at him on every play. Hell on the first play he was guarding curry for some reason. That just can't happen

For someone who embraces newer statistical metrics and evaluations of player talent, I'm surprised you stick to this talking point. Sure, if the home team wins every game from here on out, OKC wins. But if you're OKC tonight, you have to go for the jugular. If you have a 2-0 lead on the world champs going back to your place, that is giant. Instead, now the best regular season team in NBA history just has to win 1 of 3 in your place and hold their own home court. The whole post game "well we did what we needed to do and stole one on the road" just seems like some resting on your laurels shit.
