I mean okc was obviously going for the win last night. They just fell flat. They kept losing curry, adams got hurt, they were fouling shooters... Durant was throwing the ball away constantly

It makes me angry when they bench roberson for waiters. Waiters sucks. Roberson isn't a good offensive player but they don't need offense they need defense.

They just have to run the offense through durant. Westbrook needs to swallow his pride and get out of the way this series. He's in there for transition buckets and offensive rebounds. He should never be shooting from outside of 3 feet

Green and bogut were playing a 2 man zone in the paint essentially leaving roberson open playing 5 on 4. Bogut would play adams and green would play ball sode of the paint even if roberson was on weak side. Its 5 on 4 with roberson which is too tough. Waiters has to play and play well for them to win. Thats why they arent as good as people say they dhould be everytime waiters happens to play well

I don't understand why okc doesn't have a shooting guard who can SHOOT. they traded for foye mid-season despite him completely losing his shot this year.

I say put roberson in the corner and let them leave him unguarded. Surely he can hit 25-30%.

Just let durant keep going iso and attack the glass. Just keep drawing fouls. Do whatever the hell you gotta do to muck it up.

It'd be one thing if waiters was a good offenaive player but he is not.

Durant's not exerted his full potential yet. He's supposed to be a scoring machine and a shooter like Curry. It seems to me that he doesn't make improvement since 2012. At that time, he could do whatever he wanted. With curry's rise, he is actually declining. Maybe it's time to change a team.

Durant has already peaked. The real concern is how off his jumper is. When he finally got it rolling last night you saw the huge smile on his face. But he's not getting to the line (I'd argue he is not getting a lot of calls those first two games).

Let's see If the refs start giving the calls to durant in okc. Gsw is having major foul issues downlow. All the more reason for westbrook to keep attacking.

Yes, he passed his peak already, at least at OKC. He's best performance is 2010 world cup and 2012 London Olympics, and maybe 11-12 season. He was a taller curry then.

Just so we are clear, I got okc at +300 to win the series. I'll take 1-1 all freaking day after 2 games at gsw.

Last night made me a little nervous though because they definitely looked exhausted in the 2nd half. Also adams back injury could linger.

But bogut looks like he might not make it through the series right now, the guy is flat out lumbering. Ezeli gave them great minutes, gotta hope he goes back to his fouling ways.

Green and curry are both endless balls of energy though I'll give them that.

I'm a warriors fan, not gonna hurt my feelings to watch them repeat if they do. I'm appreciating the fact that this year they've got legitimate competition

Roberson shoots 21% on the year so surely he prolly won't. The problem with playing morrow is he would let thompson go off. He could hit that corner 3 though.

They've got too many good defenders on him and then he's being forced to drive into green/bogut/ezeli or shoot over his guy. Thats just too tough. Iggy was able to strip him because he's distracted by where the help is coming from.

Look at lebron vs toronto and its the opposite. He's playing 1 on 1 with carroll out there.

Wow I forgot they had morrow.... at this point I think they have to try him.

Waiters is just such a fucking garbage player he's the reason I hated okc all year. Roberson played well vs sas i figure they could ride him.

What's up with singler , he was okay in Detroit i thought he's blown after the trade to okc

Thats as good a quarter as toronto can play and they just cant stop cleveland from penerrating freely. Its not just lebron and kyrie either. The raptors are pretty pathetic.

Usually when a team is outmatched against an elite team, they can hope to get hot and steal a game but they are so bad that even if they get hot and score 110 they will still lose by double digits. They are the most worthless team to make it this far in my lifetime.

It's demoralizing. I can tell the Toronto's coaching staff and team came with a solid gameplan in stopping Cleveland. They watched the Cavs rain threes for two rounds but the Cavs completely distorted that with hitting the paint all day. And Toronto can't score worth shit

Also, the Eastern Conference has been weak as all get out, but Cleveland is freaking 10-0 so far. Regardless of competition, that's impressive. The finals are going to be so much fun to watch.

The new big 3 of caves work pretty well with each other now. For the finals, maybe it's still early to say but I think it's Gsw in 7. And curry is gonna make a similar buzzer beater as he did with okc.

This is gonna be like lakers vs Celtics in 2010

The detroit series was close 3 games but its hard to lose when 2 of the 3 closers in the entire conference are on your team.

Why the hell is CLEvTOR game 3 before OKCvGSW game 3.

One of the most annoying things about the NBA playoffs. Long, unnecessary breaks.

Okc was burnt out good. They need to reset after that disastrous showing.

I just do not understand how curry gets wide open like he did in game 2. I don't understand why kanter is guarding him in a non pick and roll situation.

I mean curry is gonna get 20-25 the hard way making crazy shots. Nothing you can do about a few screen slips, drives, off balance threes... but you can not give him open unguarded threes. It's beyond comprehension.

I mean a curry wide open 3 goes in what like 60% of the time? Maybe more honestly... if he makes 60% that's 1.8 points per shot. That's the equivalent of shooting 90% from 2s. So leaving him open is about the equivalent of letting other players take an uncontested layup... like at what point do you just not let him do it?

Well he literally shoots 90% from the charity stripe, so fouling him isn't a good option, even though that's not what you're suggesting.

It's easier said than done though. The whole team is great at passing, and if you try to close out or double Curry, you better have a body close to Thompson and have your spacing such that Green, Iggy, Barnes, etc doesn't get an open look. Pick your poison with this team.

Anytime kanter is on the floor they will have his man set the ball screen then go away. Thats just an exploit of okc autoswitching everything. They should just trap every ball screen on curry and let him turn the ball over or make someone else do the playmaking. Take the ball out of his hands.

Great theory. And it's also equal to fouling him and letting him complete two FTs with 90% chance at the free throw line. So the defender should not hesitate fouling him inside 3-pt line at the biggest moment, as completing two FTs is statistically continuous random process. Literally speaking he has 50% chance missing the 1st and another 50% chance missing the 2nd, given the result of just SCORE or NOT SCORE. So totally 75% chance that he can't make the two FTs together.

That's 90% for one shot.

Absolutely fucking sickening watching biyombo get 26 rebounds and 4 blocks to dominate cleveland.

How in the fucking fuck did we let him get away for $3 million. I mean you always have a spot open for a guy who can do that because if the matchup dictates or your big man gets hurt at least you can throw a wrinkle in there

Pretty key game here tonight, should know a lot about how they matchup after 4 days rest and time to review film.

Okc really has every reason to win tonight. Westbrook, durant, and ibaka have been through this so many times . Westbrook knows he can't shoot. Durant knows he has to shoot. Ibaka knows he has to defend.

Like you can't help but kinda cheer for them. If they get through sas but blow it vs GSW man i can't imagine the letdown...

Lebron man how down was he on Irving last night... I think Irving is gone if they don't win title this year
