trade-in value is what a dealership would give me so they could resale it and make money. they would base everything on the "retail price"

$10k is a great place to start.

well... i've struck a deal with a dealership on a truck and they are giving me 9k on the car.

now i just need to decide if i want to let go of 10 years of memories on the truck. there are 2 different people ready to buy it for $3500 tomorrow.

i've started to think about all the memories. and i don't know if i want to let it go!
