does stain remover ever stain your clothes?

cause it sometimes stains mine. and then when i try to get the stain out with stain remover it never comes out.

HELP!

googling stain remover stain did not yield helpful results.

i USED to find clothes every now and then that had been stained by laundry detergent. but for years i've only purchased clear detergent AND made sure to put it in the washer and run the water a little before putting clothes in.

Not related at all, but it is a laundry woe:

Its going to cost about $5 to wash my clothes, and then likely another $1 to dry them

^^ that is what i'm afraid of

^ that is what caused the stain in the first place, duh

ok after some ferocious googling and NO help from tww, apparently dish soap and white vinegar are supposed to help. since its kinda like a grease stain

sigh. i guess i'll try that.

i dont think you can reverse the damage to the stain remover

thats why they have the disclaimers to try it on a small spot first to test the fabric

spill less boo

why'd you need stain remover for a relatively fresh mud stain?

AND its not stained everywhere i sprayed it. there's like 2 dots of stain. so obviously it works on that kind of fabric! just not 100%

i guess it is hardly noticeable. it just makes me

i mean its fucking stain remover

^ well it was from yesterday. and cause mud stains! isn't that why stain remover exists? i didn't wanna wash it and then not have it come out. that would be even worse

a) its 100% cotton so i didn't test because shout has worked on every other 100% cotton garment i've ever used it on

b) for the 10th time - product did not leave stain EVERYWHERE it was sprayed. just 2 tiny dots. so the test wouldn't really have helped remedy this situation. but yea, i know. i've read the labels.

but i never really understood how those tests were supposed to work. what you spray it on the fabric and then wash it and see what happens? but then you're just washing the rest of the stain INto the fabric when you do that.

I think Ambrosia is pretty hip to fabric issues isn't she?

In other news, I see that you liked that I cannot fold fitted sheets
I hate them!

^^ ok i recently learned how to fold fitted sheets. well to ALMOST fold them - in a better way than the balling up method that usually results when i attempt to fold them.

you take one corner and put it in another. ok its hard to explain. i found a video.

like so:

haha. yea well at my friend's beach house we always have to clean before we leave (duh) and the cleaning is very methodical and must be done in a certain way - so i've finally mastered the fitted sheet folding

but dude in the instructional video does it a lot prettier than i do my own. but at least attempting this way gets them somewhat folded.

I like how he tells us "you are GOING to make squared off corners "
He's as picky as I am . . "just when you think you have it squared off, square it off again and again and again, inch by inch until it's ridiculous, then panic and fold it over"

hahahahha i know

cause he knows once everyone gets it almost folded they might just be like "fuck it good enough"

but he's like YOU WILL SQUARE OFF THE CORNERS

he is quite picky
