i got several several tickets in my time at state.


and i paid about 1/2 of them. (i know i know thats bad)

^ $0, $30, or $40 depending on the violation. yes, I got booted today. next time I get caught it's an automatic fine and boot. the next time after that is automatic towing and impounding.

Friend of mine who got a ticket once just leaves the "ticket" on his car now when he parks around campus. Hasn't failed him yet

ha, yeh, did that and got another ticket twice.

chances are, if you're parked for just a few hours, then you'll hardly ever get tickets. so I doubt his "trick" is actually doing anything. if you're parked in the same lot every day, all day, then you'll get tickets and this little trick won't work.

does anyone know if they really check the Reynolds coliseum parking deck? One would think if you just found a spot facing a wall and parked in between two cars they wouldn't get you, but do they actually go through and check every level all the time?

people park in front of my house all the time because it's free. sometimes i dick around and park my truck there and ride my bike to work. ruining someones day

Yeah, parking is a fucking joke. I've been just parking at pay-meters on Hboro now.

I'm usually only there for less than two dollars during the day anyway, and only three times a week.

Still comes out waaaaay lower than buying a parking pass, or paying for that lot way up Hboro.

I got a ticket for my front left tire being two inches over the line though (only that tire), and the officer "took pictures, measured". Ugh. The officer was across the street from me when I parked, looked at me, didn't say a word, and wrote the ticket right after I left. What a jackass. Not worth 20 dollars.
