Remember when gus was 2 feet from an explosion but lived long enough to walk out of the room? That was really plausible and cool

For a show as great as Breaking Bad, I'll give a little artistic leeway. Seriously, this is easily one of the best dramas on the tv and the evolution of the characters has been nothing short of amazing 1/26/2012 5:08:15 PM |

And Mad Men is a poor man's Breaking Bad when it comes to everything else.
I'll take my dialogue without the annoying, pedantic dose of subtext, please. 1/26/2012 11:14:05 PM |

Any ideas/thoughts on where Season 5 will go and how the series will end? It seems there's endless possibilities.
Mounting bills, the return of cancer, and a failure at the car wash force Walt back into cooking. Jessie's house is seized by the IRS and he is forced to partner back up with Walt. Hank finally puts all the pieces together and begins suspecting Walt and Jessie. In the end a final face-off between the three of them, Walt kills Jessie and Hank kills Walt. 1/29/2012 12:49:53 AM |

I don't think Walt would ever kill Jesse. Walt has to die, there is no other way in my mind to end the series. I'm much more curious to see what happens to Jesse as I have always viewed him as the moral center of the show. 1/29/2012 12:54:19 AM |

No matter what you have to assume this season builds towards Hank figuring everything out. If he isn't the one who finally catches Walt that would be a huge let down. I imagine he is going to be pretty pissed off, once he looks back and realizes how close he has come previously to catching him, and all the times he has essentially been embarrassed, not to mention the fact that his injuries were Walt's fault completely.
Personally I don't think Walt should die. I think it's a cop out for the writers. Considering how evil Walt has slowly turned, just letting him die and essentially get away with everything would be weak. I'd like to see Walt's cancer return, he believes he has nothing to lose, then in the final moments of the season finale his doctors tell him it has all cleared up and he spends his life in jail. 1/29/2012 11:10:43 AM |

TreeTwista10 minisoldr 148439 Posts user info edit post |
i think its the last season
theres some link in the season 4 thread that implies the writers got season 5 after previously not knowing if they'd get season 4, and plan to end it in season 5, which i believe has 3 more episodes than previous seasons so they can wrap everything up

There are 16 more episodes. They have not decided yet whether to make it one season or split them into two. 1/29/2012 10:41:42 PM |

Love this show. I've always thought Walt would get caught by his brother-in-law eventually. Then they would get Walt for everything, unless he confesses and brings down everyone else for a lessened sentence but then he would refuse and die from the cancer. 7/7/2012 11:19:48 PM |

It doesn't make much sense for the DEA (or whoever) to cut Walt a deal to rat out his underlings, if anything they would cut his underlings a deal to rat him out. 7/8/2012 12:16:09 AM |
