On top of the total fail of a basketball season that should have at least resulted in a team that wouldn't be laughed out of the top 25, we have:

- a football team ready to win 2 games
- a baseball team that has begun to tank after being ranked highly earlier as well
- a women's basketball team that lost in the WNIT to a shit team
- a bunch of teams no one cares about

So why are we better off now than we were under Lee Fowler? He was awful. I don't see how we're better now.

Last year a baseball team in the cws, basketball team in the sweet 16, football team that won a bowl game. Two consecutive tourney appearances and three consecutive bowl appearances. Its not perfect but its better than lee fowler era so far.

Here are the Director's Cup ranking for the past 4 years (they've only released the fall for 2012-2013) Note - Yow was hired in July 2010:

2009-2010: Fall - 85; Winter - 88; Final - 89 (last year under Fowler)
2010-2011: Fall - 52; Winter - 71; Final - 67 (Yow's first year)
2011-2012: Fall - 38; Winter - 41; Final - 37
2012-2013: Fall - 41

Hard to say where we'll end up b/c of spring sports. Not much to argue...we're much better off than we were before Yow in the non-revenue sports (hell we even got points in women's volley ball this year...). I think we're better off in FB and BB but that can be debated.
