I don't think a loss would surprise anyone. It would be a crusher, but it wouldn't surprise me. This is exactly the kind of game we normally lose.

doeren rolls slightly differently than most nc state coaches. the typical nc state deal is losing to teams we shouldnt but occasionally beating a team we shouldnt

he always loses to teams better than us so that should mean...

the fact that bc is actually decent this year could play to our benefit - hard to overlook a team that's rolled their last couple opponents and is on a hot streak.

I lived in that neighborhood for 2 years, and went to the game when NC State came to town. I got my tickets through the Boston chapter of the NC State alumni association so I sat where the group was. We all got those red Wolfpack scarves for free, it was pretty cool (except that Luke Kuechly pounded us to no end and we lost the game 10-14).

What are you into? If you have the time and want to go for a long but pleasant stroll, take a lap around the Chestnut Hill Reservoir. If you like bars, I'm a huge fan of Cityside (corner of Chestnut Hill Ave and Beacon Street). Let me know your food preferences (Italian, sushi, bbq, etc) and I'll make recommendations. for the area.

Will you be staying in Chestnut Hill/Brighton, or in Boston proper?

Take the D line to the game and not the B or C (all three are branches of the green line). B line will get you just a little closer to the stadium, but B and C run on major roads and have to stop at traffic lights. The D line gets you to the Reservoir much much much faster.

From Fenway you can take the D line to Reservoir in 15 minutes, and then walk 20 minutes around the reservoir to the stadium. Or, take the B line to Boston College in 40 minutes, and walk 15 minutes through campus to the stadium.
