Relax you guys, these things take time. I don't think any coach with 300+ wins in their first 13 years of coaching is just going to drop everything, and give a flat-out answer without thoroughly examining his options first and contacting the people closest to him to tell the decision first (future recruits, family, current players, etc...)

But all that said, I honestly (and wishfully) think that he will give us the good news of coming to State when the time is right...

^^The point is, the first thing he's going to do after he decides is tell his players and recruits - who will then immediately tell their parents, at which point it gets leaked...you can't keep that many mouths quiet. The boards will know where he's going to be next year well before a press conference is given.

Think logically. If this is true (Which I'm sure it's not), why the hell would Cal call a meeting to say he's staying? Would you just issue a press conference instead?

If this meeting does take place, I think it's good for NC State. 95% of these "meetings" are to tell the team you're leaving.

I agree. Fowler is doing everything he can. If we don't land a 'big' name it wasn't for lack of trying.

IMO, Fowler is advocating for Calipari in the face of criticism from some in the administration worried about his "shady" past.

I dont see how they could offer Calipari less than what they offered Barnes (2 Mil) without Calipari feeling second rate and being offended. It's public knowledge that Barnes was offered the 2 mil a year, so Calipari knows we have that much that we could offer him too.
