My doctor said wait 48 hours. Not sure if it makes any difference that I did the open ended with no scalpel, so there was just a tiny little hole that he worked through.
Update for today, I slept mostly okay last night. Today has been almost completely fine, no ice or anything necessary. I feel a little dull soreness in my left abdomen, not my scrot, but that is it. I took the gauze off and no bruising or anything. Taken a few ibuprofen just to be safe and a couple beers today. I haven't mowed or anything today but I did go out and do some photography and rode around a little bit. All in all pretty good, just a little bit uncomfortable. Doing surprisingly well for what was done yesterday! 6/2/2018 8:42:26 PM |

You also have to "empty the magazine" before the followup check. 6/3/2018 7:53:41 PM |

^ This. I think my doc suggested around 20 times just to make sure. Enjoy that! 6/4/2018 8:53:05 AM |

Mostly back to normal. Went to work yesterday. Sack is still a little tender if I move the wrong way and I have a sore feeling in my lower left abdomen when I stand up, so I'm a little slow on that. But hell I really can't complain at all considering what got taken care of. Definitely recommend Dr. Monteith if anybody else is thinking about getting this done.
^Yea my doctor said twenty times and three months for the babymakers test. Got the first one out of the way yesterday. I was nervous as a motherfucker but no pain or anything out of the ordinary so that is good. If the dull ache when I stand up or whatever would go away I wouldn't even remember that I had it done less than a week ago! 6/5/2018 12:13:11 PM |

Finally been three months. Dropped the sample off on Thursday and after checking it out no swimmers were detected. Officially not having anymore kids. w00t!

I once wanted my tubes tied and half my liver taken out, but they only do that in Virginia.

does getting snipped degrade busting of nuts at all? I've read mixed reviews...some say no effect; some say slightly diminished volume or sensation. 9/16/2018 12:03:50 AM |

No change whatsoever. The first time or two I was really nervous, but after that it was just fine. First couple of weeks I had occasional discomfort in the sack as shit healed, but nothing major. And since I had the open ended one I have never gotten the whole swelling up discomfort that others have mentioned. I would totally recommend it to anybody who is done with having kids, especially if you use Dr. Monteith. 9/16/2018 9:52:45 AM |
