Son has his first cold: crazy snot production and a fever over 100 degrees.

He's gonna be a big one... at 4 month checkup he weighed in at 15 lbs 15 oz and 28.25 inches

thanks...yeah, she's gonna need a cattle prod to keep the boys away in a few years.

We have a really good time together...I expose her to new things (food, music, activities, etc) that she doesn't get to do with her lame-ass mom. I remember a little while back (she was probably not quite 4 at the time) when she thought it was the coolest thing that I let her cut her own food up.

I have some boys clothes for cheap.....my son is in 12-18 month clothes now (he is just 8 months).......I have so much he never wore.

Who would have guessed the little 6 pound 7 ounce boy leaving the hospital would weigh over 23 pounds at 8 months.......

Also, Jim....what a beautiful little one!!! How adorable. I remember that thread you posted awhile back about children and I always wondered what came of it.

My daughter is 2.222 years old now... last night, during the bedtime routine, I looked at her and said "My Luci", and she looked at me and said...

"My daddy"

and I just melted

She has never said that before!!!

I also refer to my daughter as "monster". For some reason people tend to look at me funny when I am playing with her and call her Hadley Monster. i don't know why, I think it is cute!

We brought Amelia home yesterday. She left the hospital at 5 lbs 14 oz and looks like a tiny little baby doll. Our 3 year old was terrified of her when she started to move and coo. But today he's been the best big brother a girl could ask for.

And it's weird how having more than one child can make you feel like more of a family than before.
