In the end, it doesn't really matter because it's non-conference and our first game. We just need to focus on winning the NFC South. It will suck to hear ESPN babble on about this for days weeks, though.

Some takeaways:
- Kelvin looked great
- Stewart had some nice moments as well
- Line needs to protect Cam (especially on right side iirc)
- Refs were not kind to us, but we should take them out of the game (though the last few minutes they saved us)
- Clock management / timeout usage were terrible

We're still a solid fucking team.

yeah...the clock/timeout management thing was bad. seems like something that gets worked in the preseason, not Week 1. but it's a road game, so i'm sure that factored into it. and you're right...KB looked great. glad he's back

Another positive take away: Shaq was our best defender (per PFF) playing nickel as a 220 pound linebacker. Dude hits like a freight train, can cover slot receivers or tight ends, and stops running backs cold. It's gonna be fun watching him, Kuechly, and TD terrorizing offenses all season.

So last year, everybody said we played a weak schedule, even though going 15-1 means your SOS takes a -14 win hit, and we proved ourselves against Seattle x2, Arizona, etc. But Denver in the Super Bowl was too much for us.

So this year, we faced arguably the best defense we'll face all year in week 1. So maybe we rattle off the next 18 in a row
