^^ I was talking to Earl who has time and again showed he has no clue on this type of thing. Not you. But...

Stocks will surely recover in the short-term just like after Brexit but these decisions have untold influence on the economy and markets. Some of the best economic minds in the world are uncertain but a Jill Stein supporting buffoon like Earl knows?

There has been study after study done on what Trump has actually proposed and the effects on the national debt (lol what a pointless thing to even worry about), deficits and growth are all awful. Of course that would mean that Trump actually wants to implement any of the stuff he has outlined which I actually don't believe he does.

Hillary got more votes and most people voted against Trump. His win is a literal fluke of our voting system.

Last time this happened, we got a president that started the biggest boondoggle in American history. Trump's on a short leash.

Yea, the way he is doing everything he promised to do is definitely something his voters wouldn't like. It's not like they voted for him so he could do the stuff he said he was going to do.

Stinger, all of those users made posts in this thread, so somewhere in this thread you said you supported trump

And you just confirmed it

So the serious question is, are you terrified yet or do you think he is doing a good job?

she needs to follow the voters, they are who need to feel bad

particularly the voters who are acting all surprised now and who say its not their fault because they oppose this or that, or some bullshit like "oh i'm socially progressive i just want a fiscal conservative" or some shit. fuck those people hard.

republicans showed up and voted for trump and they should all feel bad about it. they don't get to claim that its not their fault. they don't get to say things like "well i voted for him, but this muslim ban is a bad idea. i don't support that." no. fuck you. wake the fuck up, this is your fucking fault. the democratic establishment get blame for putting forward a bad candidate, but she was still a candidate qualified for the job. its your fucking fault that you voted for him, its your fucking fault that he won, everything he is doing is your fucking fault.

the only thing you idiots can do now is start lobbying your congressional representatives to do everything they can to oppose and stall trump. impeaching this moron shouldn't be hard, just put him under oath and talk about literally anything and you can easily get him to perjure himself.

Have you checked every user in this thread that has made a pro-Trump comment? I feel like this list is too short.
I went to early vote and missed the cutoff by about 15 minutes. They wouldn't let me in even though there were probably 50 people still in line. I'm currently taking up my case with the ACLU.
Anyways, I'm willing to give emperor Trump a chance.

not that my friend group is representative of the nation as a whole...but the people i personally know that supported trump were/are in favor of the travel ban and plenty of other stuff he promised to do (build the wall, repeal ACA, etc). i'm aware that there's a section of the population that voted for him simply to vote against Clinton or because they wanted the SCOTUS position to be appointed by a republican president. but the handful of trump voter friends i have are as pro-trump as ever. and i haven't really seen any surprise from them (social media is where i see their opinions) about anything he's done so far.

polling i've seen seems to indicate that plenty of americans do support what he's doing...so i don't expect too many trump voters to back pedal anytime soon.

http://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/americas/donald-trump-muslim-ban-poll-popularity-favourability-us-voters-immigration-latest-a7553961.html

"But in a poll surveying 899 voters nationwide, researchers from the University of Quinnipiac found between 42 and 48 per cent were in support of “suspending immigration from terror prone regions, even if it means turning away refugees”."

i don't think it's an insignificant number of Americans that think this is a good idea.

https://fivethirtyeight.com/features/will-trumps-refugee-ban-have-public-support/

538 goes into more detailed polling questions and how the responses vary...even on the low end of those where support is in the low 40s or so, that's a ton of people that support some kind of ban.

we needed some sort of action on immigration, was this the best course of action? maybe not,

but its better than letting them all in and giving them welfare and amnesty, while legit immigrants are still waiting

there is a middle ground, but good luck getting either party there, that's the world we live in, it sucks, but deal with it

^no its not, that's the other extreme

no, am I supposed to because I don't agree with you?

everyone who has a different opinion isn't "fucking retarded" or "stupid"

its kinda what democracy is based on

if Congress doesn't like what Trump is doing the Constitution provides measures for that

you have spent most of your time on TWW trying to argue rather than discuss something, do you feel shame?

^^^^ see, that's the type of statement I would expect from a very low information citizen. It perpetuates ideas not based in reality.

Why is this such a hot button issue now that had to be acted upon? There haven't been foreign born terrorist attacks on American soil in quite some time. One might reasonably I feel that the process for screening immigrants was sufficient.

And who is talking about 'letting them all in' ? There is a rigorous vetting process for immigrants and refugees alike already in place

And how do you square up with telling people 'hey, there's a process in place for coming to this country. If you want to be here....Do it the right way.'.... and then when immigrants DO try to follow the process the right way, you tell them 'lol,, just kidding, ur muslim'?
