I mean defensively we were pretty good all game, just couldn't hit a fuckng shot to save our lives.

But hey, we're 2-0 in the ACC and 2-0 on the road in the ACC. Road wins are big, even if you don't lead for one whole second.

Don't understand o'connell being on the floor on the final offensive possession. He's not a threat to score in any way and there's not time to set up a pass.

The final minute of that ND game was a whole rollercoaster of "yesyesyes nooooo yes? No! Yes!"

We finally tie things up and go down the court, only to foul Notre Dame in the dumbest way possible.
ND missed their first make it take it to give us the ball, game tied, with about 50 seconds. We then threw it away with that weird not-a-foul layup attempt, ND gets the ball with like 30 seconds left and throws it an unforced turnover out of bounds. Then it's Burns time.

What an ending.

I hate playing uva, in part, because it feels like they get away with some much hacking and fouling but that same leniency isn’t given to their opponent. Tendencies or whatever. But this game has been officiated pretty evenly and they’re letting both teams play some. Middlebrooks with 2 fouls but otherwise no foul trouble.

I reserve the right to complain about the refs in the second half when they inexplicably start calling the game way tighter

Yes officials are terrible. UVA gets to beat the shit out of you and is allowed to step into defenders when setting screens, but their opponents never are allowed the same.

Much like UNC is going to get 30 FT attempts a game because they are "good at drawing fouls", but teams who drive to the basket/throw into the post against them shoot 10.
