Deafheaven's set was maybe the best one i've seen from them yet. They played the smaller, outdoor stage at this venue which made for a pretty awesome atmosphere. And since it was the night of their album release, they ended up at one of my favorite local dives celebrating. Pretty great night.

nice! I know a few different people going to that. Both Drab Majesty and Deafheaven's sets were great. I like some of Uniform's stuff, but their set didn't do much for me.

they’ve stepped up their light game. everything looked incredible.

there was an asshole couple next to me for a bit that nearly ruined the show, but luckily they moved after a few songs

I’ll never understand how people can talk/have their backs to the stage for a show. it’s so fucking rude.

^ That's my #1 pet peeve at shows. Followed by people who seem to only ever go to shows to record the entire thing on their phone (presumably to never watch again)

huh. this is bad, but i actually don't think I knew that about him. That's cool though. I like Spoon and enjoy them live but I guess I've never really dug into their backgrounds, outside of knowing Rob's projects prior to joining.

Britt and Rob were just the most approachable/sociable and were looking for a bar to go to after a Beto O'Rourke support show downtown so that's mostly who I talked to.
