This is why people stay in abusive relationships, put up with drug addiction/alcoholism, and why they will even look the other way when child abuse happens. trump said he rejects globalism and wants patriotism, but patriotism isn’t a philosophy, it’s not the opposite of globalism, nationalism is— did trump just not want to say nationalism?

And, isn’t this basically a 180 degree shift in ideology for the GOP? Isn’t this fundamentally opposed to free market capitalism?
