Went to the show today, not bad but nothing to write home about. Saw a couple of Savage Model 24s but the guy wanted too much for them. Still in the market if anyone on here has one.

nice piece
i want a P229. had a P226, sold it for a profit, want another SIG.
my squadron did a group buy on P229s...$650 with some custom engraving. I was thinking about getting in on the deal, but I had about $1500 of expenses come up last month. Pretty thoroughly wrecked my budget for buying guns or anything else unnecessary (besides investing). 11/18/2007 9:16:44 PM |

if you're willing to drive a little ways for a truly good gunsmith then Johnson's Gun Works in Rosewood (near Goldsboro) is the absolute best I've ever seen. Really old guy who works from a shop in his backyard. 11/19/2007 3:03:25 PM |

Awwww fuck. I thought that the gun show was next weekend.
Guess I have to keep my money. However I am thinking about getting a P226 or P229. I had a SigPro when they first came out and thought that it was garbage. I'm also getting an ankle holster from Galco for my .38 Taurus revolver. 11/19/2007 4:24:52 PM |

^ Its worth more than that, thats a nice gun. I was goin to get one, but i decided on a Nova.
^^^ The trigger job is for my BAR, i would just like for it to be a bit smoother and lighter. 11/20/2007 12:05:53 AM |

^^ lol
I'll just let it keep collecting dust for that
keep your BAR as is man, just keep a good scope on it and let it do what it does
if you want a tack driver go buy a 700 or what not and spend the money on it
(thats what I did, just need to tune it up and start tinkering now)
