ACC is less top heavy for sure. But it still won’t be a major problem if we can take care of business. Win games and we’ll be fine. Wiscy is already Q1 win. FSU, UL, Duke (x2) are all Q1 chances. @UVa, @Cuse could be potential Q1 games. The chances for Q1 and Q2 wins are there. We already missed chances for potential Q1 wins @Clemson, @VT, and a maybe a couple others OOC. Last year we were like 1-8 or something vs Q1 teams but almost all those losses were vs top 10 teams. This year it’s not as top heavy but the chances for quality wins is still there, and those games are actually more winnable this year.

I think the down ACC helps us win more games. And that’s more important I think. The ACC won’t get 9 teams in the tourney or anything. But 5 should probably still make it.

^^^^at the halfway point were actually on track to have an almost identical team sheet, except with a few less quad 4s and more quad 2s. We really need to stay undefeated vs quad 2 and not lose another vs quad 3.

Including the tourney we were 3-9 vs 1, 3-2 vs 3 and perfect vs 2/4.

a number of our opponents are borderline, but they could help or hurt.

I don’t care that I’m the only one in this thread. I will continue to bitch about refs.

CBB refs are way worse at their job than they should be. It’s a hard job. Calls will always be missed. But consistency over the course of a game is the only thing you can ask for. Refs constantly fail to provide even that, which is the bare minimum.

The crowd was great but I still don't understand why there are more and more empty seats. For those of you who live in NC and aren't going to the game... I'm curious as to why fewer people are going to games despite historically low prices. Seems like people who obviously follow state sports would be taking these opportunities to take their family and friends to just about every game.

Do you just not have enough time and money or is it something else?
