i mean seriously. there is an excuse for everything.
the south doesn't matter there was voter suppression of college kids in North Carolina Arizona had voter fraud fishy stuff happened in caucauses Minorities can't think for themselves and should know better Early voting skews reality because more people vote for Bernie on election day (as if early votes should only be 3/5ths a vote or something)
the list goes on and on.
unless Bernie wins a state, there is always an excuse. there is always a #wellactually

^^ *Arizona had election fraud. Or negligence. 2/3 of voters given provisional ballots which haven't been counted? Idc if you support HRC or Sanders, that should concern you. Similar problems to a lesser degree happened in other states. People are claiming conspiracy because all of these issues have overwhelmingly benefitted HRC. I'm not making accusations, but there's clearly a problem, intentional or not. 3/24/2016 2:30:56 PM |

do you have an actual link to support that 2/3rds claim?
i get that the lines were too long in arizona and whatnot, but the whole provisional ballot thing reeks of bernie supporters not knowing the rules in arizona - that they had to be registered democrat to vote in the democratic primary.
i get that that wasn't the only thing going on there. but when you have the history of what gets said every time he loses, it's like crying wolf at this point.

Bernie also needs to win more decisively, it sucks if some of his supporters had a hard time voting, but the margin isn't big enough to matter that much.
It's like if Trump complains about not being picked if it goes to a brokered convention... 65% of GOPers aren't voting for him, so he can't be too mad to not be the nominee. 3/24/2016 4:31:46 PM |

lol really? I gave you video proof. The mayor of Phoenix reached out to the DoJ for an investigation. Multiple news articles have been written. I though Bernie bros were the conspiracy theorists.
And it makes perfect sense to you that early voting went up 32% since 2008, but in person went down 71%? 3/24/2016 5:37:40 PM |

again, nowhere did I blame Clinton. i said something is wrong, intentional or not.
the fact is a massive number of ballots were provisional and shouldn't have been. Her vote has not been counted, nor have any of the other provisional votes. the deadline is Apr 4 for AZ to count them.

no, I get that. YOU aren't saying Hillary is responsible, but a ton of Sanders supporters are. Obviously something happened in AZ and people had issues voting. I just have a huge problem with the conspiracy theories flying around and the only person I'm hearing blamed is HRC. 3/24/2016 6:15:53 PM |

I messed around with Mariposa's numbers and a tie or slight win is definitely possible with provisionals counted, assuming they were around 2/3 of votes cast. 3/24/2016 6:33:46 PM |
goalielax All American 11252 Posts user info edit post |
those were the exact two source links I expected to see. a reddit thread and a "one poll worker" claim. neither of those are legitimate news sources.
and then you take the word of one person at one polling place and extrapolate it out to give bernie 75,000 more (essentially a 50% increase in his tally) votes than Hillary gets - so now he magically wins. do you not see how crazy that is?
and even IF that were to somehow work itself out, if bernie got all these provisional votes and turned an 18 point loss in to a "slight win" it STILL doesn't really matter in the national landscape of the election.
also, it's AMAZING that all of these issues ONLY seem to happen in states Bernie loses. all the ones he wins? EVERYTHING WENT BETTER THAN EXPECTED
Like I said, it's crying wolf

^^ The 2/3 number still results in far less in person numbers proportional to earl votes than in 2008
I could explain more but it's not worth the time. We'll see what happens before the April 4 deadline. Prob nothing like in Illinois.

No, the media is not 100% pro-Clinton. Not sure where you've gotten this idea from at all. In fact, they've done a pretty awesome job dragging her name through the mud and putting her under a microscope- deserved or not. Sanders has gotten plenty of attention from the mainstream media, and when he won Michigan, people in this very thread were bragging about how it was a YUGE upset and that even the mainstream media was making a big deal out of it.
Posts like these are the typical bullshit that shows up on reddit or Facebook. Bernie Babies at their worst.

why does what the proportion in 2008 matter? maybe more people decided to do early voting in Arizona specifically because of the reduced number of polling places?
i mean occam's razor is a thing, right? maybe the simple answer is the right answer. maybe bernie did better than polling suggested but still just lost. 3/25/2016 1:43:18 PM |

it matters because it's not even remotely close. I'm putting all the information I have together and concluding that the final tally will be much closer after provisional ballots are counted. I could be wrong, but I'm not wrong to ask questions and speculate. 3/25/2016 2:05:47 PM |

Hawaii is racially diverse, but it's so leftist that Che Guevara would have to run as a Republican here. Hawaii (big island) where I live is a split between rich retirees on the Kona side and poor locals over here in Hilo. Maui is almost entirely hippies, surfers, locals, and a small pocket of retirees. Oahu is diverse and a mixed bag, but again super liberal as a whole. The folks who would be inclined to vote Clinton might not even have come out for the caucus.
Like I said, I've seen a lot of Bernie people holding banners, waving signs, handing out pamphlets, etc here I've see almost nothing pro Clinton. Her best bet would have been strong Obama endorsement. His name carries weight here like it does in Chicago. 3/27/2016 9:32:09 AM |

yeah everything outside of the south/bible belt has either been close or a bernie landslide. that trend continues to continue.
If hillary wins, it will only be because her margin of victory was so large in those bible belt states. Regardless of how strong she is there relative to bernie, most of those states are republican locks which explains why trump is the only republican she can actually beat. 3/28/2016 12:48:07 PM |
