i need to make a lunch buddy down here in gville. there is a place here that has pretty good sushi and at lunch has an all you can eat deal, that includes all the basic sushi's, appetizers, and salads for 10.95. You have to eat what you order though, because they charge 50 cents per roll left on your plate. I want to do this, but I hate going to sit down and eat by myself.

I wish sushi nine would let you do BOGO on takeout, Id eat there several times a week probably.

I know one time I got into an argument with the cashier about it one night, I said that I had previously received BOGO for the takeout a number of times and she insisted that BOGO is for dine in only, then I talked to the manager, she is very nice and remembers my name all the time. I have never had an issue with it since, but perhaps because I was complaining and someone had given it to me before they decided to just shut me up by doing the BOGO for my takeout.

I want to go to Jiro's place in Tokyo. Its kind of like the place that I went to in Durham called Yamazushi. Preset menu, only seats like 10 people. The place in Durham is like $90 per person and I think Jiro's place is like $300 per person.

Well plus the price of a flight/hotel to Japan

I tried Tokyo House a couple weeks ago. Was really good and our bill was at least $20 cheaper than it would have been at Waraji for the same stuff.

How was the quality of the fish?

Generally, I find the quality of Waraji to be worth the price.

The quality was on-par with Waraji. The only complaint was that I ordered a sashimi appetizer and they wrapped the pieces of fish in asparagus

Eating the fish w/ the asparagus really changes the taste of the fish. The asparagus is too overpowering.

And just fucking weird, man. You don't do that to sashimi.

I really love the new direction the sushi place in Bedford has taken. Sushi Lulu. It doesn't hurt that we can ride our bikes or walk there.

Ate at Yuri in Cary for the first time.... It was amazing!!!!!! I wish I could easy there every night



Red dragon would be my number one recommendation followed by shellfish lover...... The other two we had were also good, but these two stood out by far. I will report back my findings after I return

Hit up Nikki Sushi in Wilmington.

The salmon sashimi, oh man. I typically don't do sashimi, I usually go for the fancy rolls..after this experience, screw the rolls. I'm a convert.

Finally got a chance to go huh? Jen and I liked it, very small and quiet and their rolls were a little different than a lot of the other places which we really liked. We wanna go back again sometime.
