Overall, our team is not as good as last year. Anyone that's thought otherwise is kidding themselves. We've just had an easier schedule to start with. Which kind of sucks, given that it's Finley's final year.

Fuck Doeren for hiring Ted Roof.

He was awful at GT they were glad to be rid of him. He is a cancer that needs to excised. The DB's couldn't cover anyone without grabbing and getting DPI. No pass rush. Made a QB that got benched against UNC (UNC!) look like a Heisman candidate.

This Defense is garbage, and outside of Louisville and FSU we could be in trouble if they don't get right.

I know, I know, it’s not always who you lose to, but when you lose. I’m also not advocating for us to be ranked this week either though, just stating how fickle the polls are.

Our offense is based on misdirection, screens, boundary throws, and stretch runs...none of those work in the redzone.

We have Angeline who should be a redzone monster(not counting his garbage TD drop last week) and a physical WR in Harmon, and instead we're throwing WR screens and fades to Riley/Emezie.

It's either Drink is over-thinking things in the redzone or Finley just doesn't feel confident forcing something. Also doesn't help our OL is built to pass block but our staff desperately want to run the ball in the redzone and are fine settling for FGs(now that we have a kicker).

^^that makes sense, but we've been shit in the redzone since drink/finley got here. Weve had a 60% or less td rate in the redzone since drink got here which is about as bad as we have had as an offense for a while. For reference, canada was over 70% his last two seasons. Hell...there are only 2 seasons in the last 10 where weve had lower td% in the redzone than all three of drinks seasons and one of them was the pete thomas/brandon mitchell year.
