please
the only reason why the batman ever wins is because of inventive loopholes
fake reality, superman always wins...strip search them and have them fight nude 8/12/2005 12:55:45 AM |

Wayne has synthesized Kryptonite. It shows up in The Dark Knight Returns via Green Arrow and in The Dark Knight Strikes Again...via Green Arrow. I'm sure it's been in other books as well, but those are the two that come to mind as I've been reading nothing but Miller Batman and Astonishing X-Men lately. 8/12/2005 2:33:48 AM |

Batman wins because he uses his head. He's resourceful. As Batman himself has observed, Superman has so much power that he's never had to use his head, so he doesn't even know what to do with his own capabilities.
Also, Superman fights fair. Batman fights dirty.
And from a literary standpoint, you don't want to ever write the alien beating the human. ;P 8/12/2005 9:28:52 AM |

Last time i checked all Superhero victories required some sort of loophole...
Anyone know when the new Xmen is coming out, i heard Kelsey Grammer is playing the Beast, good selection but i dont know how they are going to make himi look that buff... 8/12/2005 9:34:48 AM |

The car thing might work but Batman might see it coming since he knows that Superman would pretty much only be able to throw things at him. The laser eyes would reflect off of the kryptonite on Batman's suit. DIDN'T YOU WATCH SMALLVILLE! JEEZ! (half sarcastic/half don't know if it really would reflect)8/12/2005 12:43:16 PM |

BTW, does anyone know around what time period this movie is supposed to take place? The style seems clearly reminiscent of the 30s-50s, but I remember Katie Holmes using a cell phone. Can anyone shed a little light on this? 8/22/2005 11:53:31 PM |

YEAH THAT LAMBORGHINI MURCIELAGO HE DRIVES AROUND IN REALLY MAKES ME WONDER WHEN THIS MOVIE IS SET 8/22/2005 11:55:43 PM |

That Hummer/Murcielago was pretty recent too
However, of course its set in the present. They just like to stylistically make it that way. You've seen Batman: The Animated Series, right? Same thing. 8/23/2005 12:02:38 AM |
