good heavens

you started your list with my two least favorite bands EVER.

you have sprigs of redemption throughout, however. Some.

i guess i should have been more specific...all music threads devolve into shit like WillemJoel pulled on Turnip...sniping at bands people like because they're not in their list or some shit

I would bet my life on the fact that if I went into a "Music for 2008" thread and said I couldn't wait for the new [fill in top 40 artist here] album to drop, I'd get called out within 5 posts

you kids are really sensitive. it's funny. very much of my list is quite well known stuff. i make one harmless comment about someone starting a post with two bands I dislike, and you feel like you have to come to his defense? pathetic. my list is more than open for berating. grow up. and, for what it's worth, i DO like old Aerosmith. but there's quite a discrepancy between OLD aerosmith and what they've been doing for the last 20 years. but i don't need to expound on that, do i?

If you're basing that wager on the posts in this thread, then you obviously didn't see the countless top 40 artists in nearly everyone's posts.

go back and read, then come back and rebuke your own statements, as you should.

I would think the Gin Blossoms were equally as shocking as James Blunt... just sayin'.

(no offense, axl)

haha i have a rather eclectic taste in music

and alot of the albums remind me of really good times (or really bad times) in my life... so they have special meaning, and thus crawled into my list.

sure, they're not popular... or maybe TOO popular... but either way, it's what i like.

and the mancrush isn't on bon jovi... it's on richie sambora

I've been told this a few times... but people never seem to realize that my library is still all rock... and only rock, and nothing else... just rock in every possible format (excluding death metal).
