We average 15.5 assists per game this season, which is tied for 3rd best in the conference with VT, only behind Duke and UNC. So the theme of the season is we distribute the ball plenty.

Difficult to accumulate assists when open 3s aren’t going down.

We played poorly in the second half. Uva makes teams do that. It’s why they’re so good. And missing open shots and FTs didn’t do us any favors.

Wish Bryce would be more aggressive, he’s not great and has some flaws...but I feel like he should be more of a scoring threat but can become too passive at times.

If you took CJB and DD’s best qualities to make a player, that’d be a pretty damn good player

Also if you took Beverly's offensive game and stuck it with Harris's defensive game you would have a hell of a player. Conversely the other guy in that scenario probably couldn't do anything remotely related to basketball. Like he would even be bad at playing basketball video games.

^^ I've been acknowledged that the talent has been lacking. Literally 60% of our starters played previously at mid majors. However, our ACC record and overall record is anything short of "amazing." Our best ACC wins was Syracuse, and the Clemson wins we were very fortunate. I'm still happy we have Keatts, but I'll let the hype fizzle until the program is in good enough shape to not be on the bubble.

We were kinda lucky with our acc schedule this year, and "we only have 2 bad losses" is only true if you only look at w/l and net rating. VT and UNC-2 were bad losses

They set a record for most points scored in our series, so yes, as an nc state fan, it's a bad loss. We lost to two terrible teams, set a record for least points scored and let another team set a record for most of points scored against us. That's 4 bad losses in my book.

The schedule sucked. But the NCAA chair just said our lack of Q1 wins is what kept us out. Not the schedule. Please, do fix the schedule. I agree. But it is interesting that the chairman didn’t point to that as a reason for not getting in. He even said that we had lots of Q1 chances (mostly in conference) but didn’t capitalize on them. So it’s not like our schedule didn’t give us the chance for what they were looking for.
