Am I the only one scared shitless of Trump/ Musk "plugging in" to the aviation system to make rapid safety changes?

One of the reasons that our ATC system is considered the safest in the world is because our changes are slow, thought out, purposeful, and done with a priority on safety. "Rapid" is not in line with any of this.

Musk's products often prioritize cost, not safety. Musk has also prioritized Space X's rocket launches at the detriment of the NAS. I have no doubt he will continue to do so, pushing safety and regulation to the wayside so that he can prioritize his own needs.

Trump is an idiot, and everything he touches gets screwed up. Aviation safety is too important to get screwed up.

Look, I'm not saying the aviation system doesn't need to be modernized. Believe it or not, there is an initiative already in place to.modwrnize the NAS called Next Gen. I vote that we fund that appropriate, instead of "plugging in" Trump/Musk's hairbrained ideas.

JFC, the attention being paid to this is largely because of the DCA airline/helo. crash. I'm not pointing fingers here, because typically these types of incidents are caused by a number of failures and factors, often coming together in a perfect storm. But....it doesn't seem like the issue here was the fault of the aviation system, ATC and it's systems, or procedures.
