i'm in a one month weight loss bet with a friend

after watering up for the initial weigh in and only switching to scotch or vodka on the rocks instead of beer i've lost 16 lbs in two weeks.

i'm way ahead in the weigh ins, but feel like im cheating, as opposed to working out all the time like the other person

but im way ahead.

also, this concerns me as to my amount of alcohol normally consumed.

While I drink plenty of water, I also drink a lot of soda. This is currently a problem because I'm supposed to limit my intake of caffeine and artificial sweeteners (except Splenda). I'm having a devil of a time finding diet sodas that are caffeine free and sweetened with Splenda.

we have these pillows and blankets/lovies/whatever you wanna call them at work and i really want one...or more

they are the SOFTEST THINGS of all time. so freaking soft. satin on one side and the softest cotton/velvet or whatever on the other side with satin trim. amazing.

the girl i work with has several pillows and blankets. at first i thought it was weird, but then i was tagging them today and i was like "now i get it"

but i still don't want to be the one buying a baby blanket for my bed. i mean they come in decent sizes for like a throw or something, but still. it seems odd. but i might break down and do it. i *REALLY* wish i'd had a satin pillow and blanket for traveling over seas. they are perfect for travel. and babies, obviously.
