I just got back to NY yesterday from Charlotte.

im about 2.5 weeks from driving down to the beach and I am missing NC. I don't desire to ever return but I love knowing it's there.

I didn't say DC was necessarily bad, simply my perception of the District which was so loathsome. I have little tolerance for traffic and stupidity. While the percentage of the latter is likely no higher than anywhere else in the nation, the concentration is such that encountering it is nearly inevitable.

I'm biking to work starting Tuesday. This taking 20 minutes to travel 2.5 miles shit has got to stop. Even when my commute more than doubles next month it'll be worth it.

I will be visiting NC soon.

Soon I will be home in NC again.

I forgot how much I liked the freedom of NC's roads and the ability to go drive ten minutes to a hiking trail. There are no such things here in Norfolk, VA. There's no beaches like the crystal coast, either (I don't bother going there because they're ghetto or filled with people). I'm very lucky to be able to move back home and have a new career in North Carolina. <3

Been away for over 2 years now, and desperately wanting to come back for good. Just need to find a good job in order to do that.

In the meantime, at least I get to come back for a visit this weekend!
