has anyone experienced swiping left on a particular person only to have them come up the very next time you open the app? I swiped No on this girl at least 3-4 times only to have her reappear the next day. well finally last night i swiped right and guess what? instantly matched and then i get a message from her within the hour. Kind of had me feeling .

Men's health voted Raleigh one of the best cities for Men and I remember another magazine (maybe men's health too?) voting it a top city for single men. Honestly I think Charlotte deserves the award more than Raleigh. Charlotte, while not every girl is this way, is chock full of pretentious stuck-up chicks. On the flip side when i do visit Raleigh, a few times a year, I always meet more girls than any given weekend in Charlotte. I also get more tinder matches haha.

Dating is CLT is definitely doable and there is a large selection of girls but I'm glad I'm not the only one that noticed that in charlotte it just seems to take more effort. Of all the places i've lived and go to on business, girls here are more difficult to open up. Wonder what the deal is

- If the ratio of elidgeable single guys to girls is unbalenced in town OR
- Girl in CLT have more unrealistic expectations of dating their 6'3" dream banker boyfriend with a house next to Freedom Park. My close friend Lauren is a cute girl, kinda the girl next door look, but nothing to call all my college buddies to brag about. She has the mindset though that she can get whatever guy she wants and to be fair she is always talking to new dudes all the time.

My friend Max whose been living here for 2 years is a athletic good looking guy from Montreal (speaks with a French Accent) and is an engineer. He was complaining the other weekend about CLT girls being hardest to talk to of anywhere he's lived.

Definitely true. When I moved back here in 2005 I was single and it was a damn challenge, to say the least.

I got lucky and found a girl who just moved to town and locked that shit down and put a ring on it a few years later.
